CMU Newsflash: Council of the European Union adopts securitisation rules
The Council of the EU has adopted two regulations aimed at facilitating the development of the securitisation market in Europe.
On 20 November 2017 the Council of the European Union adopted new securitisation rules. The rules will enter into force on the twentieth day following publication in the Official Journal of the EU, and they are expected to take effect from January 2019.
