The UK Financial Conduct Authority and Prudential Regulation Authority have issued parallel consultations on detailed amendments to the UK securitisation framework which are described as a material simplification and streamlining of the rules. These include significant proposed changes to the key provisions on due diligence and transparency. In this briefing note, we provide a high-level overview of the regulators' proposals.
