Roelie is a tax specialist in the Financial Markets Department in Amsterdam.
Her practice focuses on tax transactional and tax planning matters in the areas of capital markets, structured finance, and banking. She also advises on (inter)national restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, investment funds, asset management, and transfer pricing.
Roelie is admitted to the Netherlands Bar Association (Nederlandse Orde van Advocaten) and is a member of the Netherlands Association of Tax Advisors (Nederlandse Orde van Belastingadviseurs).
Before joining the Amsterdam office in 2023 as a tax advisor, Roelie earned a master’s degree in International and European Tax Law from the University of Amsterdam. She also holds two bachelor’s degrees, one in Dutch Law and another in Dutch Tax Law, from Erasmus University Rotterdam. Additionally, she studied at the University of Zurich, where she completed courses in international (tax) law.
