Andrea is a Partner in the firm’s Disputes & Investigations team and has extensive experience in dealing with substantial and high-profile commercial disputes particularly those with an insolvency or IP focus.
Andrea has acted on complex disputes relating to a variety of issues, including technology, IP, investments, directors’ duties and commercial contracts. Her clients include international companies, insolvency practitioners, professional services firms and financial institutions. Her work has included acting for liquidators, receivers, examiners and companies in distress or the focus of a regulatory investigation. She has also acted on regulatory investigations, complex cross border asset recovery and enforcement matters; cases with a civil fraud element and issues relating to contempt of court. Andrea also collaborates with our specialist IP teams in acting for client looking to assert their IP rights or to defend unmerited IP litigation.
Prior to joining Simmons & Simmons Andrea practiced at a top five Irish law firm in their Litigation, Restructuring & Insolvency practice.
Andrea has also spent time working in-house in the regulatory investigations team of a “big tech” company gaining invaluable experience and insight into the internal legal challenges and evolving regulatory obligations of a major tech organisation.
