Elena is a Supervising Associate in the Banking, Finance and Capital Markets department at Simmons & Simmons Luxembourg LLP.
Her area of expertise is centred on domestic and cross-border finance and capital markets transactions, with a particular focus on acquisition finance, real estate finance, including in the data centre sector, leveraged finance, and corporate lending. In addition, she regularly advises on a variety of structured finance and fund finance transactions.
Elena is admitted to practice as an Avocat with the Luxembourg Bar (Liste II).
She holds an Advanced Master (LL.M.) in International Business Law from King’s College London and a Joint Honours Bachelor’s degree in Law and Business Studies from the University of Warwick.
Prior to joining our Luxembourg office, Elena worked for the European Commission in DG FISMA, focusing on retail financial services.
Elena is fluent in English, French, Dutch and Greek.
