Samuel is a Supervising Associate in our Frankfurt office, specialising in restructuring and insolvency law as well as finance transactions. He advises financial institutions, investors, shareholders, and companies and their managing directors on restructuring and distressed situations in both domestic and cross-border contexts. Samuel also advises clients on structured finance matters, with a focus on real estate and project finance.
Samuel studied law at Ruprecht-Karls University of Heidelberg and Tallinn University. He completed his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Karlsruhe, which included a placement at a law firm in Mannheim.
Before joining Simmons & Simmons in 2021, Samuel worked as a research associate at a leading international law firm, focusing on banking and finance and restructuring.
