Emily is the Global Managing Partner of Simmons & Simmons, responsible for developing and driving the firm’s vision and business plan.

Emily’s journey at Simmons & Simmons began in 2017, when she joined as a litigator with expertise in international construction disputes. Her exceptional skills and strategic acumen led to her appointment as International Head of Dispute Resolution in 2022, earning her recognition in The Lawyer Hot 100 2023, while her work went on to feature in The Lawyer’s Top Cases of 2024. Since becoming Global Managing Partner in May 2025, Emily has twice been named among Financial News’ 50 Most Influential Lawyers and 100 Most Influential Women in European Finance, in 2025 and 2026, further cementing her reputation as a leading figure in the legal profession.

As Managing Partner, she chairs the firm’s International Executive Committee and works closely with Senior Partner Julian Taylor. Emily's leadership is underpinned by three guiding principles: clients, people, and technology.
