Simmons advises Infranity on Vantage EMEA investment

International law firm Simmons & Simmons advised Infranity on its investment into Vantage EMEA.

Infranity – an asset manager specialising in sustainable infrastructure investments – has completed its investment in Vantage Data Centres Europe, Middle East, and Africa (Vantage EMEA).

Infranity joins DigitalBridge, a leading global alternative asset manager dedicated to investing in digital infrastructure and AustralianSuper, Australia’s largest pension fund, as a shareholders in Vantage EMEA.

Vantage EMEA is one of the fastest growing hyperscale data centre platforms with a presence and development projects in Germany, Ireland, Italy, Poland, South Africa, Switzerland and the UK. This investment will enable the expansion and development of hyperscale data centres to meet the growing demand from global big data and cloud computing companies.

Infranity has c.€9 billion of assets under management on behalf of institutional investors as of October 2023 and is part of the Generali Investments’ ecosystem of asset management firms and a key component of Generali’s capabilities in real assets.

The cross-border Simmons & Simmons team was led by David Brangam and Matthew Pitman with assistance from Jennifer Watters and Peter McKeever (Dublin), Boris Strauch (Frankfurt), Ben Vickers and James Curry (London), Julie Carbiener (Luxembourg), Edoardo Tedeschi (Milan), Marco Winterer (Munich) and Camille Benezet and Ophelie Pregnon (Paris).
