Louise is a partner and market-leading adviser on Irish and EU financial services regulation.

She advises banks, MiFID investment firms, fund service providers, fintech firms, trading platforms, and crypto-asset service providers on complex regulatory matters. Her practice covers Central Bank of Ireland authorisations, regulatory perimeter issues, conduct of business and prudential requirements, market abuse, AML, governance, fitness and probity, IAF, and financial services M&A, including private equity investment and divestment of regulated entities.

Louise has extensive experience advising international firms on EU regulatory frameworks and regularly represents clients through industry bodies. She is also highly experienced in advising on regulatory enforcement action, investigations, and inquiries by the Central Bank of Ireland.

Before joining Simmons & Simmons, Louise was a financial services partner at Matheson, a leading Irish law firm, served as General Counsel to a Swiss private bank in London and practised in Ashurst's financial services regulatory team.
