Emmanuel-Frédéric Henrion has advised on Luxembourg investment funds for more than two decades, covering both retail (public) and alternative (private) fund structures. His practice spans UCITS, including complex and alternative UCITS strategies, as well as a broad range of AIFs across real estate, private equity, private credit, infrastructure and funds of funds. He works with leading global investment banks, institutional asset managers and sponsors on the structuring, launch and ongoing operation of their fund platforms.
Emmanuel-Frédéric has developed particular expertise in alternative UCITS / “NEWCITS”, supporting major investment banks and hedge fund managers on hedge-fund-style UCITS products. His alternative funds experience includes advising real estate, private equity, debt and infrastructure managers on both fund formation and subsequent investment activity. He has recently focused on evergreen and hybrid fund structures, including retail ELTIF 2.0 strategies that bridge public and private markets.
An active contributor to the development of Luxembourg’s funds ecosystem, he is involved with ALFI, EFAMA and INREV, and has been a member of the CSSF Investment Fund Managers Committee for several years, which advises the regulator on industry-wide topics.
He has held partner roles at leading international law firms since 2005 and has been ranked in Chambers for more than twenty years.
