Pablo is an Associate in the EU, Competition and Trade team based in Brussels. He advises on a wide range of matters at the intersection of competition, distribution and general EU regulatory law. His practice focuses on merger control, foreign subsidies, foreign direct investment, general antitrust, and vertical restrictions, as well as DMA and DSA-related issues.
Pablo holds a law degree from the University of Salamanca and an LL.M. in European Law from the College of Europe in Bruges. Prior to joining Simmons & Simmons, he worked in the competition department of an international law firm in Brussels and trained in one of the European Commission’s merger units. He is qualified in Spain and registered on the E-list of the Brussels Bar. Pablo is fluent in Spanish, English, and French.
