Jean-Raphaël assists domestic and international clients with Luxembourg tax-related matters, covering both direct and indirect taxation. His area of practice involves implementing and advising on structures for corporate clients, institutional investors, Luxembourg regulated or unregulated investment funds.
Prior to joining Simmons & Simmons, Jean-Raphaël worked for several years in the tax department of an international law firm and in the M&A tax department of a Big Four firm in Luxembourg, where he gained experience in direct and indirect tax advisory and tax compliance.
Jean-Raphaël is qualified and admitted to the Luxembourg Bar (List II) and is a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA).
Jean-Raphaël holds an LLM in European and International Tax Law from the University of Luxembourg and a MSc 2 in General Management from the IAE Aix-Marseille Graduate School of Management.
He speaks English and French.
