Jakob Auer works as an associate in our Munich office. He specialises in the regulation of the digital world and advises national and international clients on matters of IT law, related IP law issues and data protection law.
Jakob Auer studied law at the University of Passau and the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, specialising in private international law. He was a research assistant at the Chair of Law and Security of Digitalisation at the Technical University in Munich, where he dealt in detail with the regulation of digitalisation and data protection law in particular. During his legal clerkship he continued to focus on these issues by working for international law firms, among others in Los Angeles, USA.
