Nora is an expert in banking and financial services regulation, having practised in the area for over 20 years. She has extensive experience in advising regulated firms including banks, MiFID firms and Fintechs as to authorisation and ongoing financial services conduct of business rules and on the pragmatic and effective operationalising of technical and complex regulatory requirements across business lines.

Nora is the author of “Consumer and SME Credit Law” (Bloomsbury Professional, 2021) which has been described as “remarkable” and “a landmark in its field for years to come” and has commentated and lectured widely on consumer protection issues. She is the subject matter expert for LexisNexis PSL (Ireland) on credit, credit servicing and conduct of business obligations in the financial services sphere and has lectured at the Law Society of Ireland since 2003 on financial services regulatory-related issues.

Before joining us, Nora worked in banking and financial services regulatory law in two international law firms in Dublin and Sydney. She has also served as Head of Legal and Regulatory Risk for over six years in the Corporate Banking division of a major domestic and international bank and has consulted widely across a range of regulated firms. Nora is admitted as a solicitor in Ireland and New Zealand.
