Ruxandra advises asset managers in relation to the formation and ongoing operation of alternative investment funds with a focus on private equity, infrastructure and real estate strategies. She assists clients on various corporate, regulatory and transactional matters regarding such funds. Her expertise further includes advising institutional investors in relation to their prospective investments.
Prior to joining Simmons & Simmons, Ruxandra worked for the Luxembourg office of a boutique law firm specialized in alternative investment funds. Ruxandra was seconded to the European Investment Fund and gained earlier experience at the European Investment Bank. She holds a Master’s Degree in International Business Law from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University and an Advanced LLM in Aviation Law from Leiden University.
Ruxandra is qualified and admitted to the Luxembourg Bar (List II). She is fluent in English, French and Romanian.
