Pietro assists domestic and international clients with Luxembourg tax-related matters, covering both direct and indirect taxation. His area of practice involves implementing and advising on structures for corporate clients, institutional investors, and investment funds. He specializes in providing tax advice on setting up both regulated and unregulated fund structures.
Prior to joining Simmons & Simmons, Pietro worked for several years in the tax department of a Big Four firm, where he gained experience in international tax planning with a particular focus on Family Offices and private wealth management. Pietro holds a Master's Degree in International and European Tax Law from Maastricht University.
Pietro is qualified and admitted to the Luxembourg Bar (List I). He speaks Italian, English, French, and Dutch.
