Céline has acquired multidisciplinary experience in Luxembourg’s investment funds field. After advising major investment fund managers in all phases of the fund life cycle, Céline focused her career on advising investors in co-investment programmes or contentious situations. However, she is well versed in funds from their formation and fundraising to liquidation, negotiation with investors, transactions and third-party financing for the acquisition of assets.
Céline assists clients in their due diligence, in the migration of assets in distressed situations, repatriation of profits and in the steps of obtaining prior approval from the CSSF.
She also advises independent liquidators and directors, from all types of Luxembourg-based funds, on the legal and regulatory aspects of their roles.
Prior to joining Simmons & Simmons in September 2021, Céline was a member of leading fund formation teams and most recently a member of a niche litigation practice.
