Callum bridges the gap between legal, data and technical specialities. As a legal designer he works with clients and internal teams to communicate complex information in a way that engages and empowers audiences.

Callum is passionate about accessibility. He is heavily involved in the firm’s FCA Consumer Duty response, focusing on improving consumer understanding and accommodating for the needs of vulnerable consumer groups. He is actively developing products and services to help clients ensure their materials can be used by everyone who needs to use them.

He is a frequent speaker and presenter, having given sessions at Oxford, IE University, and several conferences across the UK and Europe. He regularly facilitates a range of workshops for clients, largely around user-focused, inclusive design.

Prior to joining Simmons, Callum gained valuable experience in a variety of IT roles and in Education Management. He has a Masters in Philosophy from Trinity College Dublin and completed his GDL with ULaw. This background has given him a holistic approach to solving complex legal problems by starting with carefully listening to clients.
