Jo is an Of Counsel in the firm’s Employment group. She has a broad experience of advising clients on a variety of employment law issues, both contentious and non-contentious.
In terms of contentious experience, Jo has worked on a wide range of different employment litigation claims, including complex multi-strand discrimination claims, as well as whistle-blowing, unfair dismissal and breach of contract claims Jo’s non-contentious experience includes providing strategic and commercial advice to clients in relation to day-to-day employment and HR issues, grievances, disciplinaries, termination issues, family friendly rights, sickness absence, performance management, reorganisations and restructures. In addition Jo’s non-contentious experience includes drafting for clients, including drafting contractual documentation, reviewing and drafting company policies and guidance on policies and drafting of relevant employment provisions in the context of business sales, acquisitions and outsourcings.
Jo works with clients on multi-jurisdictional employment projects. She delivers general and bespoke training sessions for a range of clients.
