Jen Yee specialises in funds finance acting for both lenders and borrowers. She has led transactions involving subscription line facilities, fund level/holdco leverage and net asset value (NAV) facilities as well as bridging, portfolio acquisition, warehousing and continuation vehicle financing. She also advises on general partner, manager and co-investment facilities and limited partner debt facilities.
Her experience covers a wide range of funds, including infrastructure, renewable energy, real estate, private equity, venture, growth, fund of funds and secondaries.
The work she does is both domestic and international with structures based in jurisdictions like Luxembourg, Ireland, Germany, France, Delaware, the Cayman Islands, Jersey, Guernsey and Mauritius. Her dedicated team works closely with our global offices and overseas counsel with expertise in funds finance to provide seamless advice across these jurisdictions.
Jen is recognised as a Leading Partner in Legal 500 2025 and a Leading Individual (Band 2) Funds Finance in Chambers 2025.
She sits on the Advisory Council to the EMEA ExCo for the Fund Finance Association and is on the Loan Market Association’s (LMA) working group on fund finance. Simmons has representatives on each of the LMA’s three working groups on education, documentation and regulation.
