Ben serves as a Supervising Associate at Simmons and Simmons. Ben spent five years working in our UK tax practice prior to relocating to the UAE in 2024.
Ben has extensive experience in working with clients in the Asset Management & Investment Funds and Financial Institutions sectors. He advises clients in these sectors who are looking to establish or expand their regional presence. His advice covers tax issues related to the structuring and management of funds by UAE-based investment managers, the distribution of these funds to regional and global investors, and investments by regional clients into investment funds, especially in the alternatives space. More broadly, Ben provides tax support to a wide range of clients, particularly on corporate, financing and projects transactions.
