International law firm Simmons & Simmons has advised Molten Ventures on the launch of Molten Ventures Growth Fund I. Molten Ventures is one of the leading venture capital firms in Europe, with a pedigree in developing and investing in high growth technology companies.
The Growth Fund held a first closing of £175 million and will focus on backing growth-stage technology and technology enabled companies in the UK and Europe. The Growth Fund will invest in companies at the forefront of innovation across key technology sectors including space, AI, fintech, quantum, deeptech and hardware, providing them with the liquidity they need to compete globally, while giving Molten greater ability to build meaningful ownership positions in high-conviction businesses.
