Private credit managers launch tailored ESG integrated disclosures
A group of leading alternative asset managers and industry bodies in the private and broadly syndicated credit markets have launched the ESG IDP template.
On 7 November 2022, a group of leading alternative asset managers and industry bodies in the private and broadly syndicated credit markets have launched the ESG Integrated Disclosure Project (ESG IDP) template.
The ESG IDP template is aimed at enhancing transparency and consistency for both private credit investors and private companies by providing a standard format for ESG-related disclosures.
For private credit investors, the ESG IDP template enhances their ability to identify industry-specific ESG risks in their credit portfolios and compare meaningful data across alternative asset managers more consistently.
The ESG IDP is led by the Alternative Credit Council (ACC), the private credit affiliate of the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA), the Loan Syndications and Trading Association (LSTA), and the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI).
