Introducing our detailed report

We're pleased to publish our detailed report of the events and agreements reached at the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow.

Over the course of two weeks, the summit saw a series of initiatives launched, pledges made and agreements concluded.

Notable achievements include the agreement of over 100 countries to reduce methane emissions, the promise from world leaders to end deforestation by 2030, and the approval of the rulebook for a global carbon market.

You can download a free copy of the public version of our briefing paper below. We've also got a full, unredacted version that's available from any one of our key contacts - see below. It's your 'everything you need to know' guide to COP26. With ESG and sustainability two of the most important topics worldwide right now, it's imperative to keep abreast of these key developments in any industry.

Our briefing paper includes:

  • a review of the Glasgow Climate Pact
  • a catalogue of each of the main key pledges
  • a review of finance-related developments
  • and a deep dive into the newly published carbon market rulebooks.

What is clear is that the output from COP26, if responsibly implemented, has the potential to trigger an acceleration of climate mitigation activities that could shape the growth of national and regional economies as well as enhance international cooperation for the remainder of the decade and beyond.
