Redesigning the contracting process: A end-to end redesign of a clients contracting process for their in-house legal team.

Our solution

We helped our client validate their new business model by presenting their business logic as a visual decision tree. The decision tree was based on features that we extracted from thousands of service contracts. We codified each piece for enhanced insights into market practices, and it generated a greater understanding of their offering. From there, we could clearly see the paths for improvement, profitability, and growth. With our data science expertise, we could extract, clean, and structure the data from existing contracts. And we completed any missing data fields by analysing other sources.

The outcome

We implemented a new process model so the business could better understand the contract management life cycle. It led to more organised and optimised data processes, saving time and money with clean data ready to be used on suitable contract lifecycle management (CLM) platforms.
