The CBI announces year end approval timeframes

The Central Bank of Ireland has issued its timeframes for receipt of new fund applications and post-authorisation amendments.

The Central Bank of Ireland (the CBI) has issued its timeframes for receipt of new fund applications and post-authorisation amendments with pre-Christmas or pre-year end deadlines.

The CBI has set out the deadlines for the following application types:

  • Individual Questionnaire (IQ) Filings;
  • Fund/Post-Authorisation Applications;
  • QIAIF Filings (submitted via ORION and Non-ORION filings);
  • QIAIF change of service provider filings;
  • Investment Manager Applications;
  • ICAV Registration/Conversion Migrations Applications;
  • UCITS and RIAIF Authorisations, Approvals and Notings; and
  • Revocations.

The CBI have cautioned that given the new holiday timeframes in force, that all applications must be submitted in complete form. Any incomplete application will not be considered for pre-Christmas/pre year end timeframes.
