Make your declaration under the UAE Economic Substance Regulation
Have you made your declaration under the UAE Economic Substance Regulations? The June deadlines are approaching fast!
The Regulations will be applicable for financial years starting on 1 January 2019 and require all UAE businesses (including those in the DIFC and the ADGM financial free zones) to assess and make a declaration to their regulator around whether they conduct a ‘Relevant Activity’ - for a full list see here.
The different deadlines are:
- DIFC - 12 June
- ADGM - 30 June
If your UAE entity conducts activities which may fall into one of those categories, you need to take action now.
