Project Finance in the United Kingdom - A regional overview

In 2016, many of the political certainties that the business world in the UK (and beyond) has, for many years, taken for granted were called into question. It now seems almost certain that the UK will Brexit during the current Parliament, and the E&I community in the UK, and overseas investors considering investing in those sectors here, need to adjust to that new reality in whatever way it will be implemented.

To date, few if any, investors have announced an intention to stop investing in E&I assets in the UK, although many institutions are developing plans for the UK losing its free access to the European single market, and adjusting the way they are organised accordingly.
