Data protection 2020 – the data protection officer’s perspective
Join us for a discussion about the main challenges for data protection in 2020, the lessons learnt and the issues to be dealt with in 2021.
The year 2020 has almost come to its end – time for a first résumé.
The year has brought a number of challenges with it, amongst which COVID-19 and the preparation for Brexit play prominent roles. These challenges have affected many companies across Europe, but the year has also been challenging with regard to data protection. The European Court of Justice has issued its decision in the Schrems II matter regarding international data transfers, the European Commission has published a new draft set of standard contractual clauses and in the middle of all this Data Protection Officers had to deal with new issues such as the processing of health data against the background of a global pandemic.
In this webinar we'll cover all of the main challenges of 2020, the lessons learnt and what we can expect from 2021.
This webinar will begin at 10am CET.
