Quarterly Asia Employment Law Update webinar

In our next quarterly webinar on 17 December at 4.30pm in Hong Kong (8.30am in the UK), we will look at:

• the increasing trend of employees in Asia to forum shop when seeking access to data, particularly in the context of litigation
• access rights under Hong Kong's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act and from a PRC law perspective, all of which will be contrasted with the approach taken under the EU's GDPR
• a snapshot of data protection issues which arise in the employment relationship in mainland China
• recent EU privacy case-law which could influence the approach taken by the courts in Hong Kong and Singapore on allowing access in difficult cases involving so-called mixed personal data
