International law firm Simmons & Simmons has secured an award win at the Law.com Women, Influence & Power in Law (WIPL) awards.

International law firm Simmons & Simmons has secured an award win at the Law.com Women, Influence & Power in Law (WIPL) awards.

Held in London on 6 March, the annual awards celebrate the achievements of some of the best and brightest women in the UK legal profession over the past year.

Simmons was honoured with the “Excellence in Marketing” award for its influential Consumer Duty campaign, which was led by an all-female team comprising of the firm’s Financial Services (FS) Regulatory lawyers, along with staff from its business development, digital marketing, legal design, sales, and solutions teams.

In operation for a year and concluding in July 2023, the campaign delivered a wellspring of information, regular insights and updates to clients on the Consumer Duty, helping them to prepare for its implementation.

The successful campaign was recognised as consolidating the status of Simmons’ leading FS Regulatory team as a trusted advisor in regulatory change implementation.
