International law firm Simmons & Simmons has advised private equity firm Tenzing, MetaCompliance on the exit of the Human Risk Management (HRM) platform.

International law firm Simmons & Simmons has advised private equity firm Tenzing, MetaCompliance and its management team on the exit of the Human Risk Management (HRM) platform.

Tenzing, a leading European tech investor, has supported MetaCompliance since its first investment in 2021. It has overseen a highly successful period of growth, with the business more than doubling in size and accelerating its transition towards becoming a leading European HRM software platform.

Private equity partner Tim Hewens advised Tenzing and MetaCompliance on the exit – the first exit for Tenzing advised at Simmons. Private equity partner Richard Kyle advised the management team on the transaction. Tim and Richard both joined the firm this year.

Simmons previously supported Tenzing on its investment in cloud software platform Bannerflow in July – its third within Tenzing’s third fund.

Tim Hewens commented: “It has been great to advise longstanding client Tenzing on its first exit with Simmons. This was a highly successful transaction with significant gains for both parties following MetaCompliance’s rapid growth over four years. Our team looks forward to continuing its support for Tenzing’s expanding European tech portfolio.”

Richard Kyle commented: “It was a pleasure to advise James MacKay, Neil Leishman and the wider MetaCompliance team on this exciting transaction and the next chapter of their journey.”
