Simmons & Simmons has announced that Dax Lim has joined the firm as a partner together with his team of associates. Dax joins the Asset Management and Investment Funds team as a dedicated venture capital and financial regulatory specialist covering the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region and focusing on the Singapore market. The team move boosts and expands the firm’s already highly successful funds practice in Singapore.
Dax has over a decade of experience in advising investment funds on structuring, formation and global investment transactions. He also works extensively with venture backed technology companies throughout their lifecycles advising them on debt and equity financing, strategic partnerships and regulatory and commercial matters. Dax has also been involved in major cross border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and investments across a wide range of industries including e-commerce, financial technology, biotechnology and artificial intelligence. Prior to joining Simmons & Simmons JWS, Dax was leading the venture capital practice group at the Singapore office of an international legal practice.
