Simmons & Simmons advises Triple Point on YFM buyout debt facility

Simmons & Simmons advised Triple Point on senior debt for YFM’s management buyout, supporting one of the UK’s leading high-growth investors.

International law firm Simmons & Simmons has advised Triple Point, the private markets investment manager, on a senior debt facility to support the management buyout at YFM - one of the UK's longest-established investors in high-growth entrepreneurial businesses.

The strategic transaction marks an important milestone for YFM and further strengthens Triple Point's longstanding relationship with the business.

The deal also reflects Triple Point's expanding services in private equity lending. Triple Point's private credit team is the delegated manager to loan books exceeding £1.4bn, supporting both sponsor-led and management-led transactions across the private lower mid-market and public sectors.

Simmons & Simmons' cross-practice team was led by leveraged finance partner Laurie Keel, supported by colleagues across corporate, tax and funds.

Laurie Keel commented: "It was a pleasure to support the Triple Point team on this fascinating transaction. Our growing relationship with Triple Point reflects a mutual focus on execution certainty, speed and a relationship-driven approach. We were also able to leverage our private equity, funds and lending expertise as the team delivered a bespoke lending solution, allowing Triple Point to further strengthen their relationship with YFM as the business marks an important step in its journey. Congratulations to all involved."
