Simmons advises DATA 4 on €3.3 billion financing

Simmons & Simmons advises DATA4, the Brookfield-owned data centre operator, on €3.3 billion financing for expansion of its GrowthCo portfolio.

Simmons & Simmons has advised DATA4, the Brookfield-owned data centre operator, on the refinancing of its existing credit facilities amounting to €3.3 billion. The new financing package includes a €1.1 billion incremental CapEx Facility to support the growth of the business and future acquisitions. This transaction represents one of Europe's largest financings in the data centre sector, enhancing DATA4's capacity to meet the growing demand for digital infrastructure across Europe.

DATA4 is a leading European data centre operator which is headquartered in Paris. The company currently operates 35 data centres across its European platform in France, Italy, Spain, Poland, Germany and Greece.
