Simmons & Simmons is proud to announce that partner and Legal Operations Director Barbara Hamilton-Bruce has been included in the global Top 100 of the 2024 Heroes Women Executives Role Model List.
Unveiled today, the 2024 Heroes Women Role Model Lists, supported by YouTube, celebrate role models who are driving inclusion for women across business.
As Chair of the firm's gender balance network and a wellbeing sponsor, Barbara has been instrumental in driving change across the firm, working to ensure that awareness of menopause in the workplace is firmly embedded in our business and our commitment to Menopause Pledge is honoured as the gender balance network is internationalised across our offices and aligned with our broader D&I strategies.
Qualifying as a lawyer through the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX), Barbara became the first CILEX Lawyer to be admitted to partnership at Simmons and continues to advocate for social mobility and inclusion in the legal industry through involvement with BelEve mentoring, as a CILEX apprenticeship supervisor and continues to support CILEX as a non-executive advisor.
