Effie Dower, Managing Associate in the Applied AI team of international law firm Simmons & Simmons, has won the Rising Stars of Legal Tech award at the Legal Geek Leaders in Tech Law Awards 2026.
Effie was selected by the judges for her innovative work in turning AI capabilities into practical legal solutions, including AI adoption programmes, client platforms and agentic tools.
Presented at a ceremony in London, the awards recognise the people and organisations driving innovation, technology and transformation across the legal industry and helping to redefine what is possible in legal services.
The “Rising Star” category credits those in the profession emerging as future leaders in the legal technology space.
