Paris, 22 may 2020 - International law firm Simmons & Simmons Paris office has advised the real estate investment trust Global Net Lease on the refinancing of its real estate assets portfolio in France for an amount of €70m.
This operation, financed by HSBC allowed the refinancing of GNL’s whole real estate assets portfolio in France.
The multidisciplinary team at Simmons & Simmons was led by Céline Larmet, Partner, assisted by Morgan Nussbaum and Alexandre Grevet, Associates, on financial aspects, and was composed of:
- Elisa Bocianowski, Partner, Sarah Copeland and Louis Delestrée, on real estate law aspects; and
- Etienne Kowalski, Partner and Martin Binder on litigation aspects.
The Luxembourg office of Simmons & Simmons also worked on this acquisition, with Louis-Maël Cogis, Partner, and Leonor Rijpma, Associate, on Luxembourg law aspects.
GNL was also advised by Taj on tax aspects.
