The Paris office of the international law firm Simmons & Simmons advised Supermarket Income REIT plc, and Atrato Capital Limited as investment adviser, on the acquisition of a portfolio of Carrefour supermarkets in France in a sale & leaseback transaction.
The portfolio, valued at €36.7 million (excluding acquisition costs) and covering a gross internal area of 3,716 m², consists of 9 supermarkets located in Charente-Maritime, Cher, Eure, Marne, Rhône, and Val d’Oise. The portfolio was acquired with a 12-year lease, with an option for the tenant to terminate in the tenth year.
